A card directly linked to your checking account. When you use a debit card to make a purchase or withdraw cash from an ATM, the amount of the transaction is immediately deducted from your account balance.
- Accepted worldwide wherever you see the Visa sign
- Conduct transactions as a swipe, chip or tap to pay transaction.
- Swipe at any terminal by using the magnetic stripe on the back of the card.
- Insert your card chip first into the terminal.
- Look for the contactless (tap) symbol on the store’s terminal. When prompted tap your card within a few inches of the symbol. Depending on the merchant’s terminal it could be on, above or below the screen.
- Travel securely by using your PIN
- Make payments with no interest or annual fees
- Transactions are based on funds availability and limits
- All payments will be listed on your monthly statement
- Access cash at any Star or Cirrus ATM
